I was deeply moved by the warm and kind staffs. They gave me all the information I needed. Also, I will never forget the delicious and pleasant dinner at this hotel. I will definitely visit this hotel again. Perfect!
A little noisy early in the morning. As I was a bussiness traveller, I didn't care it seriously.

Charming stay with a stylish atmosphere
The restaurant served delicious fusion dishes, and breakfast was a real treat with fantastic coffee. The whole place is clean, and the free parking around made it easy to explore. The room could benefit from some updates to keep up with its charm.

The setting was perfect, really close to a very nice residential area, cruise ship, and town centre. The room was great-sized and unique, also it had smoke detectors. There was free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the service in general was very efficient.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, which was copious and tasty, served in our room. The hotel has a pretty (1920s style) bar downstairs. Room number 9 is very spacious and nice.
The location of the hotel is not spectacular (in the centre of IJmuiden, a sleepy and gritty fishing village located next to the steel mills of Velsen). Still, the hotel provides bicycles, enabling you to cycle to the beach (sandy and clean) in 10-15 mins.

Staying here with my four kids was fun! We loved biking around IJmuiden, especially visiting the locks and spotting big ships. The kids enjoyed our nearby outings, like checking out fishing boats at the port on our way to the beach.
In my wife's opinion, a play area for kids would be great.

The hotel boasts a charming antique vibe, especially in the lobby and dining area. A standout feature is the excellent variety of hot and cold dishes served at breakfast, complemented by the staff's consistently friendly demeanor. The stairwell to the rooms may pose challenges for travelers with mobility issues, particularly when managing luggage. The room I stayed in felt quite dark and needed more lighting, which slightly affected the ambiance.

I had a lovely time enjoying the fine interior design and the super comfy bed that made for great rest each night. When I needed to relax, I took full advantage of the beautiful bath and the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded me. Just a heads up, the stairwell can be a bit tricky with luggage, but it didn't really change my positive experience. 😊

The room was quiet, nice for a peaceful night's sleep, and the interior design added a unique charm to the atmosphere. Daily fresh towels and a super clean bathroom were excellent touches, alongside the cute nature of the staff who facilitated a smooth check-in process. The stairwell leading to the rooms could be challenging for those with luggage, and signs of wear were noticeable in the room decor.
